Job Description: Director of Engineering – cold heading, fasteners, tooling

International fastener manufacturer is searching for a Director of Engineering to manage engineering functions. This position will manage the two engineering groups located in the USA and UK. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for international work experience.

This position will manage Tooling Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Product Development Engineers. Interested candidates will need a four year technical degree, five plus years of engineering management and direct experience in the cold heading and/or fastener industry. This position is responsible for quoting , applications, product development, tooling and process improvements. Strong leadership skills and fastener experience is required. This position will manage 15 engineers, have customer contact and play a major role in the development of new products / processes. Great opportunity for advancement in a growing international company.

MUST HAVE: direct experience in cold heading / cold forming and/or fasteners. A four year technical degree and a minimum of five years of managing an engineering department is required.
