Manufacturing Engineer – Acme, multi spindle screw machine, tool
A 40 year old company has an opportunity in Engineering due to the retirement of a valued employee. We are searching for candidates with hands on six spindle screw machine and some knowledge of CNC machining experience. This position is responsible for estimating, tooling, process layouts, cycle times and feeds and speeds. This engineer will support the shop floor with trouble shooting machining issues.
Interested candidates should have past experience developing processes on some of the following machine tools: Acme, New Britain, Conomatic, Wickman, Greenlee, Index, Euroturn, Gildemeister and/or Schutte multi-spindle screw machines. We are looking for experience and machine knowledge. Degrees and CAD design is no required.
Our client has over 65 automatic screw machines and a CNC machining department. This is a great opportunity for someone to advance their engineering career after coming off the shop floor.
MUST HAVE: the ability to design tooling, layouts and estimate cycletimes. Multiple spindle screw machining experience is a must.
