An Engineering Manager’s Dream Job!
Expanding medical products OEM is searching for an Engineering Manager to implement new technology throughout the facility. We are searching for candidates with a four year degree, project management, lean / six sigma and strong technical close tolerance CNC turning experience. Interested candidates should have past experience programming CNC lathes, EDM, machine processing and knowledge of cutting tools. This position will manage engineers, maintenance and their model shop. The position will focus on new technology and continuous improvements. Past accomplishments improving cost, material flow, scrap, cycletimes, tooling and machine efficiencies is required. Knowledge of medical machining, FDA, swiss cnc lathes and the machining of stainless steel components is strongly preferred. Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement systems is a must. This progressive client has seven facilities and currently enjoys 75% of the market share for implantable medical devices.
